2009 Caravan, hose leaks behind 'dist cap'
There's a leak from an 'accordian' type hose where it attaches to a metal pipe coming under the 'distributor cap' from the rear. The other end of the hose appears to attach to a metal (aluminum?) pipe that crosses over to the passenger side near the firewall. I'm not good with smells, but it seems like coolant. Drips more than once a second. Hopefully you can see the black stream in the photo. This is my first attempt at a post.

It is a coolant pipe which is why the head gasket will blow if you let it lose fluid without fixing it. I have not looked into the coolant hose routings and what each do. I suspect the hose to the firewall is for heater core and the other route toward the passenger tire probably goes to the water pump or thermostat. The 5/8" barbed brass T-pipe is probably your best option. Replacing it with factory parts is really costly and short-sighted. It's a design defect and reliability issue that needs to be eliminated.
search this forum using key words "coolant brass" or "coolant y-pipe" or "coolant leak" or "coolant T-pipe"
search youtube using key words "2009 caravan coolant" or "2009 caravan hose" or "2009 caravan leak"
let me know if you can't find anything.
PS: If you don't know how to search this forum or youtube, please shoot me a PM and I will give you a lesson.
