Default 2000 3.8 AWD will not start

I bought this as a parts van. Owner said: Would barely run and dealer said it would cost a fortune to fix so he parked it.... sat for a few years. Here's what I found and did:
1. New battery, van started and ran rough with obvious exhaust leak.
2. Replaced cracked rear exhaust manifold, shattered really from the inside out. Van would now run but at 2000rpm and above would cut out no power
3. towed to autozone and got multiple codes however cam sensor came up first, replaced cam sensor no change. Between reading here and my armchair mechanic brother we thought it was either PCM or fuel pump.
4. Replaced fuel pump no change. Van would start and idle nice but cut out at or above 2000rpm no power, undrivable.
5. removed new cam sensor and tried old cam sensor, now van would not to start and sounded like timing was off... sputter, try to start and cough out of intake. I got another cam sensor and thinking it was spark and not fuel problem I replaced coil. Also replaced crank sensor. also have another PCM from junkyard but created this no start problem first. It does not change a thing, sorry for lengthy post, any ideas please? will tow to autozone again tomorrow to pull codes. (sold my daily driver today and need this running)
Van will not start at all, glad your all here please help

Not sure if this will fix your problem but did you check your Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Solenoid? EGR failure is common on the 2000s.

Van cranks now but won't start correct? Have you determined if you're missing spark or fuel while starting? Have you tried the key dance to get codes? May save you a tow.

EGR is good, key dance (if I,m doing it right. From off I go on-off-on-off-on-off-on) does not give me anything. No start condition began after removing and replacing the cam sensor. Still no start with new cam sensor then new crank sensor and new coil. armchair mechanic will be back for lunch today and we will check spark/fuel

Tow is just a pain, not cash out of pocket. Drop the front bumper cover and use a tow bar with my old GMC pick up
