Need help immediatly!! 1996 Dodge Caravan 3.0. New transmission, new engine. Engine ran good for a week and died on the freeway. Wouldnt start and no spark. Changed the crank sensor. Just bought a new ECM, changed it and the old one was full of water. Still no start and no spark, what could be wrong??? Could the water in the ECM have damaged something else?? What else could be causing no spark???

have u got under it and checked the starter wires?...sometimes they come loose or unpluged that would cause it to not get fire also check all fuses if they r good then it could be the water shorted out a wire somewhere

 

yes the starter wires are fine, the starter is working, the van turns over but wont start. all the fuses are good. im beginning to think its electrical.

 

Getting power to and from the coil?

 

no there is no power to or from the coil.
