Default 2001 3.3L Grand Caravan Sport are these lubrication fittings?

On my control arms I see what I think are grease fittings in front near below the knuckle? They don't have the normal rounded head that holds the grease gun tube, but seems to be more like a flare if that makes sense. They don't hold onto the normal grease gun fitting. So are these grease fittings, will they take grease like regular grease fittings? Also what type of grease is good to use? I purchased in the past some grease that said it was for chassis and wheel bearings in a grease tube but it really made a mess on my Chevy 4x4. It would just keep migrating out?

thx

They are not grease fittings, they are wear indicators.

Thank for clarification. Now how do I know if something is wearing?

if the ball joint is worn, you will easily be able to spin the "grease fitting".
