High Energy Ignition for a 4th Gen?
Apparently, Chrysler make a high energy ignition upgrade for my 2005 SXT, see:

Does anyone know or have this system? How easy was it to install it or did you have your dealer install it?
Here’s more Mopar stuff: http://www.streetperformance.com/m/c...rformance.html
Good pic of kit: http://www.streetperformance.com/par...0-4876728.html
I think the Mopar kit is made by MSD, and if I got MSD it might be this one:

- Also shows how it’s wired.
Maybe I’ll just do it the easy and expensive way by getting the Mopar kit and having it installed at my local Dodge Dealer, Marino Dodge Chrysler Jeep.
But is it necessary to get this stuff? Some people say 4th gen have a waste spark ignition – maybe it fires twice? What does the stock ignition do? Surely Chrysler wouldn't spec an ignition upgrade if it wasn’t needed!
Also, what are the best spark plug wires? Are they NGK’s like this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360497625070...84.m1423.l2649
I previously had a Jacobs High Energy Ignition System on my modded 1990 Civic SI. Pedal to metal street fun at 27 mpg tanks! The ignition system had a special wire for anti theft, - put a switch on it and if the car was stolen with it switched the ignition would shut down in 5 minutes. Well, my car was just on liability insurance and it was STOLEN! I had switched it so it turned off by a bus stop and got a ticket. I found the car by calling the Police and they traced it to the ticket. When I picked up my car some suspicious guy was watching me!
For my SXT I will use Bosch IR Fusion plugs, as an experiment from the Champion Double Platinums that are already in.
These ignition kit provide multiple sparks below 3000 rpm, and that's awesome and might help hwy mpg a lot when at 70 mph my rpm is 2100. What do they do above 3000 rpm?
