2012 Caravan Transmission Problem w/update

Hello: As per my comments on this subject matter, after my similiar recall it immediately corrected the hard shifting transmission. That said, approx. 4-5 months later the issue has returned infequently but increasingly. I have experienced that hard "clunk" the most when shifting from reverese to drive. I have not contacted my dealership yet but the call will take place within a week.

Had my van in to have the cam phasers replaced, and asked about the transmission.
The dealership stated that "there have been no updates for this transmission". Mine is a 2011 DGC, 3.6L, 6 speed auto.
In a later call, the service rep stated that the complaint about the transmission are very common, and mentioned hoping for an update from Chrysler.
I see a lot of people here mention transmission updates. Are they restricted to the USA? I am in Canada.

Updates are also available in Canada, but they do vary depending on the VIN# and if it applies. A Dodge dealer will be able to confirm if an update is available for your specific vehicle by looking up your VIN#.

This was repeated when they called to let me know that I could pick up the van. The guy did state that my complaint was very common about this van, a lot of owners say the same thing.
