Question 2011 Grand Caravan R/T - Add NAV & Uconnect question

Just purchased a used 2011 Grand Caravan R/T and it has the Uconnect radio but no GPS or Uconnect features.

It has the Sirius radio and when I start the vehicle the radio says Dodge Uconnect but there is no uconnect.

Is there anyway of adding these features to this vehicle?

U connect can be added with a U-Connect module. GPS will require whole radio replacement.

And with Smart Phone Navi-apps light years ahead of in-car GPS, it is not worth the upgrade.

Thanks, how big of a job is it to install the U connect module?

like... an hour worth of physical work, and 15 minute of Reprograming with a Dealer scan tool.

The U-Connect Kit plugs in behind the Radio, and you remove the A-Pillar to snake a Microphone wire behind it from the U connect module.

Anyway, did you know you can just buy an AUX cable, plug the Phone's headphone jack into the Radio, and it'll work just like a blue tooth. If you are going to use a Smart phone as a NAVI unit mounted on top of the Radio alrdy, why not plug it into the Radio and listen to music and pick up calls on it too? Vo
