Get the VIN of the van and give it to your local dealership parts department to find out. If they can't/won't tell you call another dealership. One of the nice folks on this forum might be able to look it up for you as well.
XZZ is a mid model year changeover code. The EGR valve is different between the 2. If I recall correctly the valve mounts rotated 90* depending on whether yours is pre-post changeover, so if they have the valve in stock you might just be able to match it up on your van?
Another option is to request a build sheet by using Dodge's "Contact Dodge" web form located here: http://dodge.com/dodgecares. The build sheet will include all the sales codes that pertain to your vehicle.
Fill in the required fields, in the "Briefly describe" field as well as the "additional information" field, type: "Please send the Factory build sheet for my 2005 Dodge Caravan SE" or words to that effect, then submit the form. In a short time you will receive an email acknowledging your request.
When I requested my build sheet I received it via email the next day.
