Default Power steering capacity ?
Getting ready to change the rack on my 2002 Town and country . How many quarts of power steering fluid will I need ?

one quart of ATF+4 should be enough

Thank you ....called the dealer this morning, one had no idea and couldn't tell me, I called a second one and they listed it as 2.5 pints(1.25 Quarts )

usually when I replace a rack, I use just shy of the one quart. It doesn't drain completely. Make sure you use ATF+4 or the pump will complain a lot.

New rack replaced last night with ATF +4 , put in just a little more than one quart ..thanks
