my caravan used up 20 bucks in fuel in a 15 mile trip right after i left the service station when i step on the gas the Gage falls lower until i run out of gas and then the empy light comes on i had a code pulled it comes up EVAP leak detected i never had to fix an issue like this need input

 

Any evidence of a fuel leak? Fuel pumps on these vans are known to crack and leak. It's on top of the tank at the middle of the van.

 

dont see anything leaking at all no smell of gas It just leaves me with an empty tank will be checking out the fuel pump today
