Just replaced trans wife's Caravan. 2001 3.8 121,134k. Due to notorious "bump stop" and losing reverse. Replacement went smooth considering I did it on jack stands . Autozone&Advanced said "it couldn't be done".
Won't start.
I'm Getting error codes P1684 oil pump poss sensor. P0320 speed input sensor? checked connections tight/ O.K.
Any Ideas?

 

P.S there were NO previous data or codes on either sensor prior to replacement.

 

well think If u either forgot connections? can u remove those sensors from previous tranny? might have bad sensors on the replacement transmission.

 

Thanx, I ended up replacing the crankshaft poss sensor. Apparently the P1684 doubles as no start w/in 50 attempts? cleared code.
Now I need to have it quick learned. 1st to 2nd a little jumpy.
Not bad for never replacing a trany before.
