Stereo replacement in base 6-speaker trim.
Hi, I own 2011 VW Routan which is basically the same car as Doge Grand Caravan and Chrysler Town & Country. It has a basic 6-speaker stereo (not Bose) I have trouble locating any guides about stereo and speaker replacement and have a few questions:
1. How are front door speakers and dash tweeters are wired? Are there any built-in crossovers somewhere, or are both fed full-frequency signal? I have bought a component speakers for the doors, so how would I wire them - I can either simply disconnect dash tweeters and wide speakers and tweeters in the door, feeding of existing wires, or try to replace tweeters to new ones and only put woofers in doors. In latter case - where is the best place to put my crossovers?
2. Where is the best place and routing to get an amp power wire from the battery into passenger space?
3. How to remove door panels?
4. Just to confirm - I assume there is no external app with basic stereo, but maybe I'm wrong and I need to bypass factory amp? If so - where is it located?
Thanks for any info, I appreciate your help!

No cross overs in the system. If you have an amplifier, it is mounted behind the left quarter trim panel just in front of the rear speaker.
door panel comes off by removing the mirror flag, two screws, one by the door remote and the other by the pull cup. the rest is held on by snap retainers.

What's a "mirror flag"?
Also, would I see the amp if I take out the black panel that has a rear speaker grill in it? Or do I need to take the panel that houses this grill as well to see it?
Mirror flag is the cover on the upper front of the door on the other side of the mirror. Hides the mounting bolts for the mirror.
Not sure if you can see the amp just by pulling the grill but assume you will have to pull the panel back.
