Suggested Brake Pad kit for 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan?
Does anybody know what the current suggested Mopar Brake Pad kit # is for a 2008
Dodge GC ? Mine is ready for its(at least) 4th set of front brake pads at 79,000 miles. My dealership sold from private ownership to a corporate owner (Autonation), so all the people I knew left because things got so bad there. Now a "new" service adviser tried to tell me that my brakes have never been changed, so 79,000 is definately a good time to change the front pads (even though I have taken my Dodge GC to the same dealer I bought it from for the last five years for EVERY service, and I know I have changed both front and back MULTIPLE times!). Needless to say, I am looking for a new dealership now to service my GC, starting over on records. Anyway I want to make sure they put on whatever the current suggested pad kit is to try and mitigate the excessively wearing brakes. I have heard dealerships carry Value Line pads( I assume I should stay away from those), now a new dealership is advertising Magneti Marelli pad kits (don't know if they are even for GC's), etc.

The front rotors rusted on the inside outer edge of my son's van and damaged the front pads. I put Wagner Thermo-Quiet Ceramic pads on the front and back of my son's 2012 Van. He likes them a lot since they stop faster and have a better feel than the stock pads.
I use those pads on all my vehicles because they stop very well, are quiet (soundless) and last a long time with little visible dust.
The Dodge Van has nice easy brakes to work on.
Good luck.
