Burp the cooling system
I have a 2008 dodge grand caravan sxt 3.8 I had a cooling hose leak at the y connector, also changed out thermostat and radiator cap. I still have a PO 128 code. dealer says I have a air bubble and they have a special machine that will fix the problem. Is their a way to DIY? anyone?

dude this is the durango section, that engine wasnt even offered in the truck lineup, i will move this to the caravan section for you where someone should be able to help you out. Although to me a special machine to get air out of the cooling system soundsl ike a load of crap

well you could buy the hose, each is 100. think they have made better ones aftermarket. or you could probably do it with like 20. buying a y connector and hose clamps and piece of hose rated for pressure and temperature.
in regards to air and machine this totally bs. run the vehicle with enough fluid in the resovour and it get the air out
