Removed the map light lenses to gain access to the lights, one of which I thought was faulty. When I removed the bulbs for inspection/replacement, the bulbs were scorched as well as the plastic sockets they fit into. I was able to fix the problem by cleaning the scorching off of the contact surfaces.

I'd say someone left the doors open too long and/or that the bulbs are just too hot for the application.

Has anyone else noticed scorching in the map light sockets?
