Default Speedometer, temp gauge and fuel gauge not working.

Hello all.

I just replaced my fuse panel (IMP) and all the problems that I had before were fixed. However, now the speedometer, temp gauge and fuel gauge don't work. Also, the signal lights don't work.

Could this be related to the fuse panel replacement that I did or is it a separate issue? The fuses all seem to be good, but to be honest, I checked them at dusk this evening so I may have to do it tomorrow in the daylight.

Sorry if something similar to this issue was posted before but I went back 5 pages of questions and problems.

Thanks for your help.

edit. Sorry, forgot to tell what year it is. It is a 2005 caravan.

Nope, I put in a slightly older one simply because there are no 2005 fuse panels around right now. I checked all over Nova Scotia salvage yards and the only one had to be ordered in from Quebec.

I put in a 2001 panel. Had all the exact same connections so thought it would be the same.

I would have to guess and say that's your problem especially if you swapped the FCM with it. The FCM is the silver box attached to the front of the IPM. The IPM is much more than a fuse box. It has a hand in controlling many circuits. Other tan that, check all the connections and make sure none of the contacts are damaged meaning bent or pushed into the connector.

Ok. I will try to swap them out for each other and see if that works.
