Default 2012 GC SXT Driver side 2nd row stuck

Hello all. So far I love this van, but as with a previous van of the same model year I drove, the driver side 2nd row seat will not stow down flat. The seat back folds forward, but will not continue on its path to sto n' go paradise. Is this a common issue and if so is it an easy fix? The arm rest is fully upright and I seem to be doing everything correctly.

Ok I've made for sure that the seat was completely moved back as far as it would go and it still will not stow...I'm thinking there is a problem with the mechanism...

Got er fixed today! And it was quite the pain in the anus. No wonder the guys in the service dept weren't too motivated to try and fix it. Turns out a retaining clip to the cable that runs to the seat back had fallen out, and with a screwdriver holding a spring up and another mechanism open and pulling the cable and almost skinning my fingers to the bone with my son holding a flashlight, I finally got it! If anyone has the same problem I can post pictures of what I did if that helps!
