Hello all. My 1994 GC SE AWD with 138k sets a CEL after idleing for a while. Light is off when I restart it. Since it is OBD1 is there a keydance to get the readout of the CEL or is there another procedure to get what needs to be fixed done? Its awful good in the snow!

 

Key on, key off, key on, key off, key on. Then it should flash codes if there are any in the PCM. Testing my memory so not sure what you'll get, either it gives a P code in the odometer or it will flash the check engine lamp and give a 2 number code. It would start with 12 and end with 55, would need the numbers in between.
