Gentlemen,

It appears that a power steering line on my 2005 Caravan 3.3L is leaking.

I believe the line that is leaking originates at the resevoir (the smaller line) as a rubber line, and is leaking where it is a steel line and makes an ~90 degree bend right at center of the bottom of the van, and then presumable heads upwards to the pump (I haven't checked yet).

Any advice on replacing it? Do you think I could just sleeve the section where it's rusted with a rubber line and hose clamps?

The small line to the reservoir is the fluid return line from the steering rack. Goes from the rack to the cooler back up to the reservoir.

 

Thank you. It turns out it was actually the cooler leaking, not the line (in spite of the amount of oil I watched drip off of the line). Problem fixed.
