[3rd Gen : 96-00]: 99 Steering Rack Tubing size
Searching hasn't come up with anything, but I could just be doing it wrong.
What size are the small tubes on the power steering rack (see picture)? Or can I buy these by themselves? I have been looking around at parts places but have only found whole racks. I have a good tubing bender and flare kit so I'm not opposed to just bending the lines myself, I would just need to know what size the tubes are.
Highlighted in yellow. I can't fit my calipers up in between the rack and the frame to measure them. 1/4"?

Anyone have a write up on removing the rack (like whats a good order to start pulling it in?
On the subject of racks; Since I'm going to have to pull the rack to get to the lines, is it a good idea to just replace the whole rack while I'm at it? The lines to/from the PS pump look pretty good, IIRC those lines were replaced at some point maybe 5-7 years ago. The van has something like 130k or 140k miles on it, still runs fine, gets good mileage, no major rust. Its now the family backup/beater vehicle since my grandparents don't drive anymore so no rush.
