2012 Grand Caravan - how to remove the panels on the sliding door
How do you remove the panels on the sliding door of a 2012 Grand Caravan?
I’ve gotten as far as removing the piece at the door handle, and see that there is a screw that may be attaching the panel to the rest of the door. Do I need to remove this screw?
I’ve done some internet searches and some of the results say there are screws to be removed and others just talk about prying the panels to pull out the “push-in” style fasteners. I’ve tried pulling on the grey panel and have had some fasteners release but I’m afraid to pull too hard and break something. I also tried backing out the screw part way and it didn’t seem to loosen anything up.
Do you have to remove the black section of the panel before removing the grey section? If so, does it come out just by prying it?
