Default Adjustable bench seat?

I just got a '14 Grand Caravan. It's the basic AVP model. I remember asking my salesman if the middle row bench seat was adjustable (front to back like the drivers seat) and he said it was. After looking at it now, I don't think it is, but maybe I'm missing something. Is it adjustable? Thanks

I have the same model year AVP and no it is not adjustable. The seat locks in place which prevents it from moving fore and aft.

I think it's a bit much to hope that an entry level bench design without stow-and-go will allow fore-aft adjustment. The top of the line stow-and-go does not have adjustment either. Second row seats in Dodge minivan have never adjusted fore and aft like a front seat and that goes for both bench and buckets.

That sort of feature is only found in cramped, premium vehicles like SUV's that are several feet shorter than a van. In smaller vehicles, you need to juggle seat positions to comfortable fit any adult over 5' tall. This should not be the case with a full size (grand) minivan or Suburban or Excursion with 140 cubic feet of interior space. The 2nd row legroom in GC offers several inches more legroom than most SUV's, but it definitely less than a 4th generation Grand Caravan.

Remove the second row seat and just use the third. Passengers will think they're in a limo lol.

Thanks jemsurvey. That's how it appeared to me after looking at it, but I figured I may as well ask just to confirm.

NOT TRUE I have a 2013 GC SXT with the Stow-n-Go seats and the Second Row Buckets Seats .. DO move forward and back,
the handle is under the front part of the seat, now the 3rd row is fixed and not adjustable.

When you go to stow the seat and use the handle on the side, the back flips down and automatically slides forward to fold into the floor.
When removing the seat from storage compartment, the seat will latch in the upright position and then you can reach under the seat and slide it rearward.
SO, YES the 2nd row bucket seats do move forward and back.

The AVP with the bench seat in not adjustable.

Thanks for info! That feature must have been added some time after 2008 because it was not available on my Gen 5 stow-and-go. I heard the stow-and-go gen 5 mechanism was redesigned, but not sure what year...perhaps 2011.

Are you sure your 2008 doesn't have the second row seat adjustment bar? My 2009 Stow-n-Go seats adjust, and the manual for the 2008 also indicates the seats should adjust. The 2007 manual also shows adjustments for "manual front and second row seats"

This image is from the 2008 manual (my 2009 manual is essentially the same):
