Hi, I'm new obviously, but not too new with Dodge vans. We're looking for a van for our business. We'd like to get the stow and go van but with our budget who knows what we can get. Anyway, while going on a shopping spree, what do you guys normally look for in an RS van? I know a few things like:

Water pump leak
steering rack leak with/without the PS noise while turning
EGR solenoid check engine light
41TE solenoid pack leak (Can you actually just get the gasket or do you still need to get a new solenoid just to get a gasket?)
worn out front brakes (don't all minivans suffer from this?)
power sliding door motors/chain harness
power door lock actuators

That's pretty much my knowledge/experience in the short time I worked for CDJ dealer. Anything else I should look for? Thanks guys.

These vans are very prone to rusting. Check the underside of the rockers as that seems to be the first place rust shows up if the hood hasn't been them to it. If it has rear heat, the coolant lines almost always rust out if the van is from an area where salt is used.

 

Thank you for the reply. I didn't even think about the rust part. I am in good ole California and hoping to get a Cali car as well so hopefully rust shouldn't be an issue.
