2000 Caravan Sport will not crank
I was messing around with my 3.3L 4 speed Caravan Sport and unplugged the transmission sensor. After driving a little, the check engine light reminded me to plug it back in. Car ran fine after that for about an hour. I used my code reader to reset the check engine light and thought all was well. Went to start the car about 3 hours later and nothing. Good strong lights that do not dim when the key is turned. No clicking, no noise, just nothing. Will not take a jump. Any ideas???

First verify the starter relay doesn't click when you turn the key to start. It's in the PDC (under hood fuse box). No click? Check 10 amp fuse #10 (ignition) and 40 map fuse #104 (starter relay). Good? Swap the starter relay with another relay on the panel. Still no start? Remove the starter relay and jump contacts #30 and #87 together on the relay socket. The starter should spin right away, keys in your pocket. If it does you proved the output circuit from the relay is good meaning the starter, battery feed to the starter and starter relay fuse are good. To check the ignition switch check for 12vdc at contact #86 of the starter relay socket with the key turned to start. If there's no voltage there you have a bad ignition switch or that wire is open. The switch has multiple contacts that power different circuits.
