Is it a nut and bolt? I'd have found a close standard grade 8 and stuck it in there.
But if the nut is welded on I geuss your stuck getting the exact bolt.

The nut is welded to the inside of the frame rail so even if I wanted to use a different nut it would take a ridiculous amount of effort to replace the nut.
I didn't cross thread it this time and the hitch is properly secured now.
