02 Grand Caravan.

Having trouble charging the A/C, took it to a car place and they too are having trouble charging it. Do I need a new compressor?

 

I'm now seeing that this is a second post, and you have already posted something about noise, which may be related to this. It's best to use just one thread to exchange all of the information. So the noise you previously asked about in the other post MAY be A/C related, and although it may be compressor-noise, failure to charge sounds more like a leak. Take it to a shop which does complete A/C servicing to get a diagnosis and estimate for the repair. And perhaps that repair will eliminate the noise as well.
