Default Guage cluster failure

HI need help, just bought used 01 GC Sport, 3.3, runs great, but sudden complete failure of gauge cluster, this the 3rd Caravan I have had the same problems with and resetting the errors after a scan doesn't seem to work, even my mechanic is telling me it is possible a ground might be bad or? But the long and short is it could cost a fortune to track down? Anyone got any suggestions? I can still drive it but it is a real pain without gauges.

Hold the cluster trip **** in then turn the key to on/run. Cluster should start a self test sequence within a few seconds. Does anything move?

Check 10 amp fuse 28. Check power and ground at the cluster connector pins 6 and 13.

Default cluste

Find the Iod fuse and pull it for a couple minutes then reinsert and see if that helps.

I tried the reset with the trip button, had no effect, the fuse also is OK, but changed it anyway just in case, how do I get to the main cluster connector? Do I have to remove anything to get to it or just reach up from bottom? also I will try removing the Iod fuse for as few minutes as recommended by vipergg, again I can't thank you guys enough, hopefully I will eventually get to the bottom of this

Finally resolved the problem by removing the Iod fuse letting it stand for a while then plugging it back in, now all systems are back to normal, thanks very much for your help guys

Default glad you got it

I appreciate what a pain the cluster is, having pulled mine last year to replace lights. Glad the LOD solved your problem for you and you did not have to pull it.
