The cruise on our van has started acting very strangely. When I set it the other day, it started to accelerate and kept on going until I hit the off button. Even using the cancel button didn't work. However, I tried it today and it worked perfectly.
Does this sound like a servo issue or something else like the PCM?

 

It would be hard to diagnose what happened. If the issue recurs, I would suggest having a dealer inspect where they can do a more in depth diagnosis of the issue.
