i have a 2001 grand caravan and it had 170 k but it ran great, it ran like a sewing machine, but it had a main seal leak, and at the time i thought it was a value cover gasket, but after coming off the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, i pulled over to post a msg on facebook, coming off the shoulder i had to gun it to keep from getting hit in the rear thats when i heard the knocking long storie short some on the bottom end was about to good out, the question is whats the latest motor i can drop in the 2001 grand caravan, with out having to do crazy mods, i love my grand caravan and am not giving it up because of the motor going down.. or is it cheaper to rebuild the motor and transmisson?
