[General]: trans is going nuts

trans is going nuts
My Caravan trans started acting up last year ,I cleaned all the conectors and it was fine till about a month ago when it started doing the same thing as last year.,cleaned the connectors . Some days it's fine. It will not go into drive
for about 15/20 sec. Out on the road some times it shifts and then it goes to limp mode .If I turn off the o/d it shifts as it should.I changed the in speed sensor. Same thing,only now it slams into drive
Is it time to change the control solenoid ?Oh, I have cleaned the grounds.
Any help will be appreciated.
