2002 Grand Caravan transmission issues
Driving to work on the highway, check engine light came on. Finished driving to work about 5 miles. Going to park it wouldn't go into reverse. Tried to put it back in drive and it wouldn't go into drive either. Codes showing are P0218, P0715, P0740
Any insight would be very appreciated! 118,000 miles on it, 2nd owner- got it at 101,000. Never any issue, never anything leading up to this.

Low Fluid or a connector issue.

Something's wonky with the input speed sensor.

high temperature, another low fluid level problem.
I see a motif with the lists of possible causes: low transmission fluid. Since the transmission uses the fluid to engage the inner clutches, low fluid could definitely cause it to fail to go into gear.
Once the van's cooled down, see if it'll go into gear again. If it does, run it for a little bit, then check the transmission fluid. Parking brake, then shift into each selector position once and then go into neutral and check the dipstick. Also, just to make sure, look for leaks.
