Default Is it possible to add a lift kit?

I had an idea if lifting my 96 dodge caravan is possible. Not with monster truck tires, but maybe a 2 - 5 inch lift, and slightly bigger tires. Make it like those Ford Econoline Expedition vans. I never seen a lift kit for sale for a 3rd gen caravan, but maybe piece something together. Rear end would be no problem IMO. Add a leaf or two and longer shackles, new brake lines, etc.

I don't think the C/V joints would be at too much of an angle, but I think I would need longer control arms since the wheels would be tucked in under the fenders more?

Mostly just a redneck idea unless I have the van as a spare vehicle and spare cash, which will be never :P

I bet this is your reaction -->

What would be the purpose of wanting to lift it?

Same reason people add lift kits to Jeeps and trucks and never go off road.

Are you also going to make it 4wd? Otherwise it's pointless IMO.
Not trying to sound like an @$$.

Raising the rear can be done with changing springs, the nose would become the issue. Not sure how to lift it with struts, look into lift kits for newer trucks (some ran Struts) then build off of that.

They are however easy to lower. If you wanted to go the other way.
