I have a 2000 Dodge Caravan with the 2.4 engine and the three speed trans. 93,000 miles. Do you guys have any advice on band adjustment (as specified in the owners manual)? Any opinions on Amsoil Synthetic ATF?

I have the same - at 140m miles I had shifting issues and changed the fluid to ATF+4. That solved it. I called the dealer and the tech there said "Bands? What bands? . I quoted him the owners manual advice and he said he still never did that. Wow! what a weird world this is. My local mechanic also said he didnt know about it. Finally on line I found detailed instructions on the difficult adjustment, maybe u tube. But I never did it, and all is fine. Go figure.
