07 Caravan IOD issues
2007 Caravan
Symptoms
no power locks, dome light, remote entry with ignition off.
no radio ignition on or off
Brake lights on all the time.
Leads me to the IOD circuit minus the brake light issue but I feel they may be connected in some way. Fuses and relays have been tested and are all good. tested brake light switch its good. now here's the weird part.
I pulled the radio to test for power. GRY/RD wire x2 both showing 1.5v. I disconnect the brake light switch and the GRY/RD wires at the radio are now showing 4.5 volts. Check for IOD power at the BCM. GRY/RD feed from IOD fuse read the same as the radio with and without the brake switch 1.5v and 4.5v. Tested IOD power at the IPM solid 12v there. Somewhere between the IPM and the BCM the power is dropping. I don't have a clue where to look next.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am stumped.
