New to this.so van is spits and sputtering .have to put it to the floor be for it will even start.then spits and sputtering bad .drove a block came back seemed to idle fine .shut it of restarted it same thing.to floor and spits and sputtering.

 

Which engine? Have you checked fault codes?

 

Check engine light on?
