MAINLY because, I wanna install one in the wife's van. Not entirely sure if this, "cellular" phone craze is gonna catch on, so I wanna make sure we can communicate in a convoy.

I'm going with a smaller radio (Uniden PC68) and smaller scanner (Uniden BC355C), since there's NO room in these modern vehicles - with all their avionics - to squeeze BIG radios and scanners into 'em. I'm leaning towards the Wilson 1000 mag mount antenna, since my wife won't use it - most likely - UNLESS we're traveling together (rare!). MIGHT need to hide a Palamor somewhere within arm's reach, too...
