Just bought my first Dodge -- a 2015 Grand Caravan R/T and am really digging it thus far.


One issue... I'd really like the interior lights to come on (automatically) when the ignition is turned off/key is removed, before opening the door. Currently, I have to manually move the switch up to turn on interior lights. Wanted to know if having them come on automatically when car is turned off is even an option on this model?!

Check the owners manual. Probably a setting that needs to be set. I thought all new cars do that nowadays. Welcome to the forum.

 

I've been through that owners manual front to back, back to front. Unless I'm reading it wrong...

Welcome! I have a 2013 and no light comes on either, but that doesn't mean yours shouldn't. I've just relied on keeping the headlights on until I'm ready to get out. The instrument panel usually provides quite a bit of light.
Glad you like your new van. I've had a Caravan since 1986, wouldn't be without one.
