Hi all, I have a 1995 dodge caravan, 3.0L, 21,000 miles (yes, its true).


Anyway, it looks like I have some rust on my Fuel Tank Filler neck (hope I said that correctly), which is causing a leak.


Do I need to remove the tank to replace this part? I looked at it briefly a few minutes ago in the dark with a flashlight, and it sure looks that way.


Any input is greatly appreciated

Check the grommet at the bottom of the neck. They had a tendency to dry rot and leak.
Either way the tank will have to be dropped some to get the neck out.
