[General]: 2013 Grand Caravan highway gas mileage Florida bound
I go to NW Jacksonville from Charlotte NC quite often. I just use 20 MPG even though I often get 21 and 22. It costs about $50.00 per-way.
If you use the Torque Android app and a cheap OBDII bluetooth unit you can get more accurate calculations. I've never got it to actually work on my 2001 and 2003 though.. It'd be awesom if it did, it uses multiple sensors to monitor MPG. It's probably the most accurate measurement you'll get..
You won't see much difference unless you have a 2008+ with a six-speeds transmission(3.8 and 4.0), and probably best with the 2011+ with Pentastar engine and six-speed.. Pentastar has cylinder deactivation..

), depending on how many traffic jams you get into (stop and go due to bad weather). We took our 2014 from Florida to Maine last Summer and consistantly got 25-26 MPG on the highway. The one year difference from 2013 to 2014 shouldn't matter. The 2014 might be a hair lighter due to more aluminum used in the vehicle. Even when we rented a 2011 to go from Florida to Arizona and back in 2012, we were getting close to 25 MPG. The 3.6 with the 6 speed in economy mode does well. We were on some rural roads running about 55 and often got 28-29 MPG.
You should get about 25 MPG average (you'll have to convert to metric if that's what you use

The engine and trans molds and materials differ almost not at all. It's probably the cylinder deactivation and additional two-gears. My 3.8 2003 gets 19-23. I think I can get 25 at 65+.
Unless you're going by PCM monitoring your calculations are going to be rough approximations like mine.
As soon as the 2011+ used market goes under 9k I'm getting a pentastar.

Chrysler 3.6L VVT Pentastar V6 Engine
The Pentastar engine is one of the most versatile engines on the market today...
...Although the Pentastar doesn't have cylinder deactivation, direct injection, or a turbocharger, it is set up for all three. This again shows its versatility as an engine and the ingenuity of Chrysler as they move forward...

The two gears probably allow lower RPM at speed, and VVT basically works like Acura/Honda VTEC where there is more efficient cam at low RPM..
