Whats up guys, i got a 1996 dodge caravan le, problem here is that the alarm for the door ajar light goes off, and the car automatically unlocks and locks itself like it is possessed. Any help would be great, I've researched a few things, some say is can be the body control module, or the door lock relay, or the wiring in the hinges. Yet I'm sure it may be one of those things id love some confirmation about it. Thanks to anyone who can give me a hand. Selling the van so want to fix this issue before letting ol' reliable go.

 

Most of the time the door ajar switch is out of adjustment. Usually I can get inside the van and push on the rear of the door. If you can get the dome lamp to come on the switch is bad and replace it.
