[5th Gen : 08+]: 2008 GC 3.3 SE AC doesn't blow cold though charged
Hey,
I have a 2008 Grand Caravan 3.3. . On our trip to Florida we noticed that the AC does not blow cold. I checked the low pressure port, pressure was pretty high so I assume it's charged.
I have the impression that the AC still works, but it's only a little cooler than the outside temp and way not enough to cool down the interior.
Our GC has front and rear temp regulaters.
Any tips what to look at before I take it to a dealer, which I defenitely wnat to avoid since I have been disppointed too often?
Many thanks in advance

Instead of a dealer, find a repair shop that is running a free AC checkup for summer special. They do that around here all the time. They will check the AC system for proper operation for free.
Instead of going by what it feels like, set a thermometer on the front center vents and measure the temp output. Should be at least 30 degrees below outside ambient temps. This way you have a tangible target to get to instead of a "feel".
