Posted earlier about my 2001 GC Sport with 150k, but did not hear back. So now I have another question regarding the Parking Brake Control (lever or pedal whatever you want to call it). With my current lever when I push down on the foot pedal it just goes down and does not ratchet back up so you can push it down some more, so now I thinking maybe the ratcheting system is no good? Does anyone know on a 2001 GC Sport how the Parking Brake Control should work? Should you be able to push it down then it should come back up so you can push it down again?
