Default Driver side window won't always go up!

I've got a problem with my 2007 Caravan driver's side window problem. Whenever I roll it down, it sometimes doesn't want to roll back up. Sometimes it will go up a little, then if you wait a few seconds or minutes it will go up a little more, and eventually you can get it rolled up. I popped the controls out of the door and played around with the connector, which seemed to affect it some, but I could never get it to roll all the way up at once. Anyone have this problem or know what the issue is? I've been searching all over but it's hard to find this exact issue among all the other power window problems.

Very common and not just on these wonder wagons. 90% chance it's the motor. The brushes wear. Debris gums up the works. Any amount of resistance heats up the thermo circuit breaker in the motor and it opens killing the circuit. Let it sit and cool and vuala - it works again. Clean/change the motor/brushes or change the whole window regulator assembly. Better off with the later as a motor costs nearly as much and it eliminates any binding in the tracks and cables.

Other than that spray some silicone lube in the guides on either side of the window. May be gritty and need cleaning.

I brushed out the carbon dust 2 years ago from the driver's side motor, as cougar mentioned above. It's never failed to work since that cleaning was done. My favorite repairs are the ones that cost $0.
