Hello everyone,

This problem just started.

2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
3.8 motor

107,000 miles

Fluid Level checked and OK. Filter changed about 10,000 miles ago.

I was driving down the freeway and I noticed that my RPM's were up to 50k at 70MPH. Got nervous so slowed way down. It doesn't seem to be shifting into high gears when driving at any speed. Almost like it's not going past 2nd or 3rd gear.

Should I trade it in(lol)? Get an estimate?

What is my best and worst case scenario here? I really dont want to put much money into this but dont mind repairs if they aren't too expensive. This old van isn't worth putting a lot of money into imo.

Thanks in advance for your replies.

It's in Limp-In mode due to something in the transmission. I would at least get a diagnosis done, then assess your options from there.

A 2007 with 100K is just getting started. Unless it's been abused.
