Which is true?
I have a 96' Dodge Grand Caravan LE with a 3.8Litre engine. But when I searched it in MSN Auto for some information of my car I notice there is no 3.8 Litre model. It is a 3.3 Litre V6 w/ 158hp. When I look at the mfg date it is Late 1995. So why is that? Is there something different (Maybe prototype or engine changed beofore?)
If I am not mistaken I think that the LE model was a limited edition,, not standard production. There were very few 3.8L engines in 96 that were not attached to an AWD transmission. If your van is all wheel drive, the 3.8L is standard.

the 3.8 liter engine was an optional choice in 1996 !!
as you can always order several options for your new car, in 1996 the 3.8 liter engine was one of the available options !

Mike
