Default map sensor??

My 97 van with 3.0 would run poorly in warm weather but only when i started it hot. It did this last summer then ran okay through winter. Now its back and actually has deteriorated to the point that it now does this from a cold start. I just did new plugs wires cap and rotor with no change whatsoever. When i start it cold, it stumbles and when i get going it bucks and i have to feather the pedal sometimes as too much pedal just makes it want to die. Then ill park it and go start it shortly while its warm and it will idle but almost any pedal will kill it. Alot if times i can feather the pedal and get the rpms up. If i rev it up real high i can then drive it. Some times ill feather the pedal and back up then feather the pedal down the road and when i finally get to about 25-30 mph it will run better but still with some stumbling. Iccasionally when trying to get my speed up, a couple of cylinders will miss and the engine light blinks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Engine light blinking is a serious misfire issue and you should stop driving immedately until you get it fixed. Hook a scanner up and see if there is a code stored to start you down the correct path.

Start with replacing the O2 sensor if you are getting a code for it.

First step is to get the trouble codes read. Any guessing before that is futile
