Fixed P1404 - EGR Cleaning - Now hear clicking???
I took off the EGR valve and cleaned it and replaced the gaskets. The P1404 code is now cleared/no longer present but... When I started the car I now here a clicking from the engine compartment. The sound speeds up or slows depending on RPMs. Could this be the now clean and I'm assuming working EGR valve or is it something else?
Obviously am novice so any pointers would be greatly appreciated

Did you notice the ticking noise at any point prior to cleaning the EGR?
Noises can be notoriously difficult to determine via internet.
If the issue persists, have your vehicle inspected by your Dodge dealer as to avoid any condition worsening.

Thanks for the speedy reply... The sound is new/started after cleaning the EGR.

Inspect the valve as it's quite possible it's not opening as it should.
Spark knock is a fairly common symptom in a bad valve and may account for what you're hearing.
Any noticeable reduction in engine idling performance?
