Default no heat

I have a 2005 caravan and recently I required heat, and there was none. I put a new thermostat in it about a year ago and the van isnt leaking anywhere; I topped up the anti freeze and let the engine run for 10 minutes but still no heat; what could it be? could a fuse be the problem?

If the fan (blower) is not running, nothing will come out of the vents. Check the fuses.

the fan only kicks in when the engine reaches a higher temperature, and the blower does work when the fan isnt running. The fuses are all ok.

I now realize that I have to flush the heater core, is there a secret to locating and removing the 2 hoses going in and out of the heater core??
