what is the proper adjustment of the downshift or kickdown arm on 92 voyager 3 spd. transmission?

 

As long as the arm starts to move with the throttle then it is ok. If it doesn't move right away, I think that there is an adjustment either up by the throttle or right by the transmission.

 

I have a book that says it should shift into 3rd gear at 20 to 30 mph under light throttle pressure.
If it shifts too early or waits too long, you should probably adjust it. This book is for the full-size
vans, but I assume it would be close to the same for a Voyager.
