2011 GC Crew 3.6l Flex. I searched, but did not find any specific instructions. My alternator is bad (confirmed through testing), and I'm getting ready to replace it. Any tips or tricks on the best way to get it out? Is it just a simple matter of getting the washer fluid res out of the way first?

I'll also going to replace the serpentine belt and water pump at the same time as I'm right at 100K miles.

 

You remove the air filter housing and the radiator fan assembly and then you get a good view. It eventually comes out the top. PM me your email and can send removal procedure.

 

Also found the following videos (Parts 1 and 2) on a shortcut used to remove it from underneath. I'll still have to drain coolant as I'm doing the water pump, but at least I don't have to remove the fan now.
